ONE YEAR!!!!

Well the birthday girl was definitely spoiled by all who love her. All she wanted for her birthday was a pony and she received one. (it even plays music for her to dance to) - thank you to Uncle Jonathan, Aunt Heather, Chase, Jalyn and Caden for that! She also got a kitchen that she spends endless time putting objects into the oven and taking them out. We got her an outdoor play set with a slide and a rock climbing wall. She also now has a wagon that she likes to ride in, so that means exercise for me. She hated the cake though, not a fan of the way the frosting felt.

She started walking right before her birthday as well. After a million attempts I did finally get it on video. She went in for her 12 month check and of course is in great health. she weighed in at 20.9 pounds, and is 29 inches long! She is in the 50th percentile for both. I still can't believe that a year has passed. She is keeping us very busy and I can't imagine my life without her.

9 months!!!!

Our little ladybug is now 9 months! I really can't believe how fast time goes by. She went for her check-up and she has grown 2 1/2 inches. She is now 27 1/2 inches long and is weighing in at 19.1 pounds. She's been crawling for the last month and is getting into everything. Now she thinks its fun to pull her self up onto everything.

Rylee went to the zoo for the first time and she loves looking at the animals. This will not be our last, I bought a pass so we will be able to go whenever. We went with her cousins and we all had a fun day. Rylee slept through the train ride, and thought that the butterflies we something she should eat. The day started at 62 and rainy and when we left it was 95 out.

Rylee also experienced her first Rodeo. We went to watch my cousin and I think she now wants her own horse. Of course the part she loved the most is the part I hate....Bull Riding, she was super excited to see them. We've had a very busy summer and it has only started.

Easter and Updates.....

Well Rylee had a wonderful first Easter. When she woke up she found her basket filled with lots of goodies....a new Brewers dress, some bracelets, gerber puff and crunchers, hair pretties, and some new teething toys which hopefully help the top ones through for her. She was an angel in church (slept most of it) and then it was off to grandma and grandpa Warrens house where she had her very first egg hunt. Then from them she was spoiled with a new outfit, bunny and sit/stand activity center. From the Warren clan (Jonathan, Heather, and the kids) she got a new little sun dress, a book, and a cute little watering can that she can water flowers with :) Then she was off to grandma and grandpa Cronins, where she basically got a whole new wardrobe!! After her day she was definitely exhausted.

Now that Rylee is almost 8 months old, I really should do some updates on her. She is soooo close to crawling, she will get up on all fours but then just roll to where ever. She covers a lot of ground and quickly when she rolls. She loves to stand up along the furniture, she just forgets that she needs to keep holding on sometimes. She waves bye-bye, plays so big and also will play peek-a-boo with the blanket. And if you miss her putting her arms up for so big she will keep them there until you say the words! haha she is funny. She is going to be a talker and probably never stop either. She is big on da-da right now, when she waves she also says ba-ba (which is bye-bye) and a couple of times she has said woo at the dogs, which is woof. When we say the dogs name we also say woof-woof after it and now she is making that sound when the dogs come around. She loves her dogs, but they keep their distance. She is bis on giving kisses right now which is super cute, the other day she grabbed my face and turned me to her so that she could give kisses. If I put her in front of the mirror she will sit there and kiss the baby all day!

Tea Party....

Yesterday (3/20/2011) Rylee and I had our first of I'm sure many tea parties. She has a disney princess set that her cousin Jalyn handed down to her. As I was setting it all up she just sat there watching me, then I would grab the cup to drink and she would keep grabbing the plate to put in her mouth. We actually sat and played for quite awhile!

6 months

Well little miss is 6 months. We went to the dr. today and she is just perfect. She is 16.9 pounds, 25 inches long. She is in the 25th percentile for her height so I think she may be short just like me:) she is in the 60th percentile for her weight. She of course screamed at the top of her lungs while getting her vaccines. Other than that she is just a happy baby who I can't get enough of.

Ears Pierced!!

Today my mom and I took Rylee to get her ears pierced. She did good, of course she cried but she settled down. They look adorable in her little ears. Now she will wait patiently for her dad to by her a pair of real diamonds for them :) I told him for her 1st birthday that would be a great gift for her.

Christmas and Check-up....

Well our first Christmas as a family was perfect. Rylee was very spoiled by everyone, she even received her very first 4-wheeler. (thanks to Uncle Jonathan and Aunt Heather) She is a little too small for it right now, but she doesn't mind sitting on it and chewing on the handle bars. She definitely loves her toys that make a lot of noise as well. Her recent favorite is her baby doll, she loves to talk to it and she snuggles with it as well.

We just went for Rylee's four month check and she weighed in at 14.1 pounds and grew another 2 1/4 inches!! So she is now 24 1/2 inches long. The dr. also said that she seems to be doing things that a 6mo old would be doing, especially her temper tantrum when you put her onto the table because she didn't want to be on the paper, she was all better when I put her blanket down first. She knows what she wants and she ends up getting what she wants as well. When the nurse came in to do vaccines Rylee took one look at the lady and started screaming, it then got worse when she actually had to give the shots. My poor little lady. So now starts the fun, we get to give cereal and in a week we start giving some vegetables as well. She is loving being able to stand up all the time, that is her new favorite. Forget about her just sitting on your lap or in her chair - she wants to be held and she wants to be standing....again she gets what she wants :)
